Smith Ace Hardware Ground Up Addition and Retail Interior Buildout

Regency Centers chose CPEX when they needed to relocate Smith Ace Hardware into a larger space at Paces Ferry Plaza Shopping Center in Atlanta’s Buckhead Community.

The new space would be the combination of two existing spaces, plus an addition of 2,000 SF to be built from the ground up at the rear of the building.

As soon as the interior demolition was complete, temporary walls were built to support the roof structure. Next, the existing concrete block wall was removed from the rear of the building.

As soon as the early winter weather allowed, the asphalt was removed and the footings installed.

Winter weather conditions made progress slow, but after a few weeks the shell of new addition was complete!

Inside featured new bathrooms, a new office, new breakroom, and a large open sales floor!

The finished product looks GREAT!!
